So Why on Earth is it Still Incomplete?

With over 200 million users on LinkedIn it never ceases to amaze me when I need to convince someone of its viability as a platform to drive and grow business. With that size audience (less dormant, erroneous, and otherwise defunct accounts) you'd think something as simple as completing your profile to be a table stake. Surprisingly this is simply not the case - roughly 48.1% of all profiles remain incomplete without at least a representative image of the account owner. Imagine handing out blank business cards, leaving voicemails without your name/number?

Fact is, your Linkedin profile (like it or not) is now officially your calling card. Especially for those individuals wanting to be successful over the next decade, the time to get this straightened out is now. In the age of Social Selling, it's no longer acceptable to leave a simple stone like that uncovered. Especially when it's as easy as uploading a picture and completing a few basic forms.

Like an old mentor of mine used to preach, "People only remember the things you didn't do." So go get it done.

If you are not on top of your own online presence, the perception you are sharing with your prospective buyers is that you are not an expert.
