Content Experience

By now you’ve probably heard about Conex: The Content Experience happening August 21 and 22 at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. You know, that marketing conference that brings together like-minded people in digital marketing, demand generation, and content marketing to rally around this idea of content experience.

Well, it’s around the corner, and there are a ton of people already signed up. So if you’re on the fence (and you like our brand of sass!), here are five reasons why you should absolutely positively not attend Conex this year:

1. There are just WAY too many keynote speakers and there’s no way you’re going to be able to absorb all that knowledge in one go.

2. Traveling with a checked bag is such a hassle. This conference has so many parties, you’ll never be able to cram all those outfits in your carry-on luggage.

3. We don’t care what Drake says, Toronto is totally overrated. They call it the 6ix but can you even list six attractions worth seeing?

CN Tower
It’s not even that big!

Ripley’s Aquarium
Because we should all pay to see fish?

Canadian National Exhibition
A poor man’s Disneyland.

Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)
This isn’t even in August!

Royal Ontario Museum
Art and dinosaurs? Real original.

Distillery District
If you want to see where alcohol used to be made.

4. More than 700 marketers?! How could you possibly add value to your network by getting to know more B2B marketers as ambitious as you?

5. The Royal Conservatory of Music is a blah venue. And I bet the acoustics are just terrible.

Yeah, we know. Just awful.

If these don’t seem like good reasons not to attend Conex, then get your ticket now.
