oFunnel is like Google Alerts, but for your LinkedIn network.

In the never-ending quest to find productivity tools for the modern-day sales pro, I had a chance to come across and learn about oFunnel. The company was founded by Kushal Shah and Van Chappell and it has one mission: to make the life of the sales professional a whole lot easier.

It’s not often that we find people trying to make the lives of sales people better. There has been a recent uptick in sales productivity apps and tools, and oFunnel is clearly a part of that movement. There’s no turning back, the world of sales is going to have to make a little bit of seat room for social selling.

So what’s the fuss all about? oFunnel is like Google Alerts, but for connections and updates on LinkedIn. I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Kushal Shah and he gave me a slick demo of the tool.

Productivity Takes a Leap Forward

With oFunnel, you’ll be able to find contacts and suggestions very quickly. Think of the efficiency you’ll bring to your life as you begin to prospect and map out accounts. We all know that buyers are going social, so oFunnel can start helping you to pinpoint who they are and map them.

Use Cases for all Types of Sales Reps

The one neat feature I really like about oFunnel is that you can dig out information that matters only to you. So if I’m a Named Account Rep who’s tasked with growing a set number of accounts, what matters to me are new contacts joining these companies.

If I’m a territory rep, I can search by entire states, verticals, employee size accounts, and so on.

You get the point; this search feature alone is very powerful.

I like oFunnel because it allows a greater and broader level of searching that aren’t fully available elsewhere.
