It’s Friday and you’re most likely sitting at your desk (reading our awesome blog) and then it hits you.

This sudden urge creeps up, telling you to devour that chocolate ice cream, fried chicken or a bag of crispy chips. Well I’m sorry to break the bad news, but that decadent delight you were thinking about is directly effecting how productive you are at work.

They say you are what you eat right? That statement holds true to the food you put in your body because an unhealthy meal can actually reduce your brainpower, energy levels and productivity. If you’re like me, then you’d definitely appreciate the utter deliciousness of fried chicken. Unfortunately that last drumstick makes me super sluggish without getting an ounce of work done (don’t tell my boss). So I’ve made the conscience decision to eat a a well-balanced and nutritious diet to increase my productivity. As a result, I’m getting more work done, more blogs are getting created for you and overall my energy levels are off the roof.

For those of you who are eager to make a change in your productivity, take a look at HubSpot’s infographic below on how to craft the ideal diet to energize yourself throughout the work week. And if you’re struggling to keep up with a Social Selling diet, take a look at our recent blog post.
